Cheesy Polenta Recipe

Cheesy polenta recipe. Ingredients 2 cups whole milk 2 cups water 1½ teaspoons kosher salt 1 cup polenta or yellow cornmeal ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 4 tablespoons unsalted butter 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese shredded. Grab your favorite stock pot and fill it with the whole milk and stock. Stir in the garlic oregano.
Remove the chilled polenta from the loaf pan and slice it with a sharp knife. Pour the melted butter over the polenta and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Smash up any large pieces of polenta with the back of the fork.
Cook 7 minutes or until browned stirring to crumble. Cook for 5 minutes until cheese has melted and mixture is warmed through. Its a creamy and cheesy porridge. Remove from heat and add half the cheddar.
Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Bring them to a strong simmer over medium heat. Add in the remaining ingredients stirring to combine with a fork.
